Pre-Conference Workshops

We know how important it is to feel confident and prepared in your practice. That’s why we’ve created this special optional day, designed just for you. Here, you’ll find hands-on learning, practical skill-building, and immersive training experiences that go beyond the scientific program—giving you real-world skills you can bring back to your workplace and your patients.

 

Workshop & Skill Station Topics

We’re thoughtfully exploring a variety of sessions to support you in challenging situations, including:

  • International Disaster Response – Experience the NCCTRC Warehouse Tour
  • In-flight Birth & Neonatal Packaging
  • Difficult IV Access in Children & Newborns
  • Emergency Last Aid
  • Difficult Airway – Beyond the ETT
  • Tour & Aircraft/Rescue Simulation Experience

Transport: We want your day to be stress-free. Return transfers are included in your workshop price, with easy pick-up and drop-off at the Adina Apartment Hotel Darwin Waterfront.

Catering: We’ll take care of lunch for you. And if you need a coffee or a little treat to keep you going, a Coffee Cart will be on-site, offering morning tea and afternoon snacks for purchase.

We have held rooms for the nights of the conference. If you wish to extend your booking, book your preferred hotel for the conference dates and email mail@conferencedesign.com.au with the additional nights you require. We will confirm the availability with the hotel and send you a new confirmation.

Payment
The total cost of the accommodation will be included on your conference invoice. Once paid, this amount will be transferred to your hotel prior to the conference. 

Credit Card Guarantee
You will need to provide full credit card details (including CCV) during booking as a credit card guarantee. You will also need to provide the hotel with a credit card when you check-in to cover incidental expenses incurred during your stay.

Payment

Please select a payment option below to complete your registration.

  • Credit card - If you pay by credit card a tax invoice and receipt will be attached to your confirmation email. Please do not exit the payment screen until you have been directed back to this page. 
  • EFT - A tax invoice with bank details and a payment reference will be attached to your confirmation email. Please include the reference to ensure your payment is allocated to your registration. When transferring money from overseas, please check the fees and add them to your payment.
  • Purchase Order - You can enter a purchase order and it will be included on your tax invoice. If you need a tax invoice to obtain a purchase order number, select EFT now and email us the purchase order number. We will then reissue your tax invoice.

Within 60 days of the conference, all registrations need to be paid by credit card.
